A great place to have lunch with a friend or family. The food is wonderful and sitting outdoors in Sherman Gardens makes everything a little better.

Table service was under staffed for the size of the group and very slow. Many of us had not received dessert or coffee by the time the program ended. The servers were polite and friendly, but there were too few for the size of tne group attending.

Cute outdoor space. Took forever to have someone take our order coffee order. They microwaved my coffee, finally got it after about 15-20 min of waiting wo a lid, filled to the top and burned my hand. Lady was unfriendly and rude.

Food was not that good and was much overpriced. Menu items very limited and were NOT authentic French cuisine.

We always enjoy lunch with the beautiful garden view. It is the perfect place to invite our guests who visit Southern California.

This is my first time writing a review for a restaurant, but I felt like I had to say something only because this place is so bad. It's outragesly overpriced and has awful, rude, and inexperienced servers. The staff here treated us so poorly. I will not be coming back. Very disappointed.

Be prepared to send a considerable amount of time waiting for the food, it took over two hours to get three courses served. So don't be afraid to get up and enjoy the garden between courses. Some plates were cleared much too slowly while others while we were still eating. One server put a piping hot plate and as knife in front of a toddler. The gentleman bringing drinks did a great job and the salmon was well cooked but bland. When dessert arrived they brought everyone's except the child's. the server said he would be right back with it then never returned. We had to ask a different server to bring it out.

First off, everyone else enjoyed their salmon and short rib. But the items I got were quite sub par. The biscuits were quite tasty, but mine was over cooked and a bit burned. And it's hard to ask for a replacement when the menu says to order them early because they're from scratch and take 20 min to make. The soup was quite a small cup of Potato Leek soup for $10. It tasted decent, but not worth 40% the price of a short rib. So it is quite expensive, which you might expect from a French Bistro, but for the price I'd expect a bit more quality and consistency in their prized biscuits and soups.

Fabulous lunch today, with all 16 of us agreeing, our lunch was just exceptional!!! Pascal, the Master Chef & Restaurateur came out of the kitchen to say hello and be sure we were all loving our delicious lunches. We're all coming back here again, just for the fabulous Mushroom Quiche and wonderful desserts. We all had a great time and we're blown away with how good and perfect all our lunches were with views of the gardens sitting outside. Thank you Tony for arranging everything with us, and planning such a special lunch for everyone, it was fabulous!!!

Casual cafe, located within the beautiful Sherman Gardens. Open daily for lunch only, they offer a concise menu of beautifully presented French classics. The locale is primarily senior citizens, who are accommodated with an excellent oldies soundtrack. My now fiancé took me here after proposing to me in the gardens, and it was a lovely experience. Not uncommon with French restaurants, there was only one vegetarian option on the menu-the Steamed Beet Salad. Fortunately, it was excellent, formed into a stack of manageable bites with walnut and herbed goat cheese, topped with micro greens. The French Onion Soup was also delicious, one of the best renditions I have tried. I hoped that I could eat around any meat in the Quiche Lorraine, but it had tiny bits of bacon all throughout. I tasted a bit of the crust, and found it to be overly oily. Service was slow and inattentive, but our happy mood could not be ruined. We enjoyed champagne by the glass and enjoyed the garden view. I only hope Cafe Jardin adds more vegetarian options to their menu.
